A rainy day

No, i didn't catch a cold..but i was pissed at the weather this afternoon while on the way home. It's really fustrating that one minute it was REALLy sunny and the next, it's pouring cats and dogs. Worse is, my shoes got so soaked its as if i was walking IN water. Ugh!

Long time no see!
Met up with Jocelin yesterday afternoon to accompany her for lunch at Long John Sliver, Century Square.
I was there cos SiHui,PeiYing,JunYing and i had to shop for prizes specially for CCN day held tmr from 12-4pm.
Sad i couldn't eat with Joce as i already had lunch with them at KFC :)
Sigh, we both want to watch Pirates of Carribean3 but very hard to find time next week or even the week after as exams are drawing closer. =(
Weekends are occupied by family functions and Church... Anyway, Glad we met up and chatted cos it's quite long since we've really hung out together.

I like coffee..it gives an energy boost to my tired body...♥

Dedication to Mom
Happy mother's day! This post specially 4 mum lol. Got her this smilely plushie from Tampines Mall that costed $21.90..really cute and a good thing she liked it cos it was a last minute shopping..(when will i ever learn). The extremely bright yellow smiley was wearing a red coloured shirt that had the words "Don't worry,be happy" printed on it. It would serve as a nice motivation when Mom places it in her office :) (next to all the other kalms' bear i got 4 her previous yrs)

Anyway, i really want to thank God for having such a great mom to rely on, especially because she takes time to listen to my troubles(& vice versa) and has made me who i am today-a loving daughter. She's also the sole provider of my family which i really admire as it's not easy supporting the entire family and she even does household chores for us.

Yeah, there may be times where she'd nag at us to stop HOGGING the PC & study more...only to be ignored or replied with a whine, but really... it is part of a mother's love for us.

I'm glad i didn't grow up to be a rebellious kid...but one who respects her parents & believe in discipline. Although i'm spoilt, (who isn't,in S'pore?) it is only because they have given me all that i need, a great home...and love that surpasses beyond any charitable deed.

For that i really appreciate, and thank you for all they've done in my life. Sorry there's no pics of the gift...i can't find the camera lol. So erm,... just think of a smiley face! :oD

Orientation!
Yay! I finally got my hands on my new fujitsu laptop! Dad helped me to collect it today and brought it home since he's paying (heheh) and also because i was going for the BIT orientation later on. I'm sooo going to download all maple n fly so during leisure time can play haha.
I don't really know why i decided to go for the orientation...it was a last min thing really, i guess i wanted to experience how it was like, which i don't regret coz it was actually fun^^ We started out in the lecture room 23 i think...opp Cheers and even when we were late...there's not many pple who attended LOL.Only Us, E03 and E05 turned up. We watched this supposedly "scary" clip...no meaning one -_- hahas.
We played quite a number of games organised by our EL(leaders). First game was the sponge tied to either our head or knees and we had to transfer water from one pail to another and squeeze it without using our hands. Those who had the sponge to their head...got really soaked hahaha...but it was a great effort :) 2nd game we had to line in a straight line n pass e ball to the back...sry ah not going into details here cos im tired n wanna slp lol. We had also the acting out game... i had blisters in the mass game T.T my BUTT kena braised against the rough flooring resulting in skin tears.Not so serious so its ok ... although it still hurts >.<. Soon Siang, our classmate was really hilarious in leading the whole of us with the cheer... really have to give credit to him for coming up with those creative ideas! Not to mention making us laugh loads of times...XD Gosh, look at the time...really gotta sleep... really had an enjoyable time, something that would etch deep in my memory...for as long as it lasts (o:

Joined 3 ccas...but they're optional! LoL.

So far, i've joined Students' Union, Community Service and Japanese Cultural Club. Had to pay $10 to be a member of JCC but i don't really mind since i'm sure it's Worth it to be part of something i really like. Memberships are yearly so next yr i'd have to renew it again..$5 so it isn't so bad. Funny thing about all these CCAs...all the events are optional so if i'm feeling tired or simply bummed out i can just forgo them. SU's selection is in June so hope us gals PeiYing, SiHui and JunYing gets in! :)

The 2nD week has passed by so quickly again! I know it's slow...but i finally remembered all the names in my class and of whom they belong to ;p People in E'04 are really nice N fun-loving haha. Often brought the subject of wanting to hang out together but us Gals are always (or mostly) the 1st to step out of the door and head straight Home. 4-give us for being so homely XD haha...but really, if there's any class outing being planned, we're so in! (i think lol).

Now, for the lessons..

I like APEL classes the most...mainly because it's only once a week (1Hr) and it's comparable to civics and moral education. So secondary sch.haha.Accounting, Macroeconomics and CTOS(computer) lessons are ok-ok. Just hope i remember what i've been taught. Communication Skills aren't really that bad just that i was shocked to hear the teacher basing her opinion of how evil the Merlion looked. 0.0 really???Cos i think it just likes to spit a whole lot in the S'pore river.LOL

Today was a relaxing day...i could sleep as long as i liked since there's no sch! Hooray for Labour Day lol. Anyway, I went with my parents to the esplanade this afternoon and spent our time there eating and admiring the view of the area. Here's some pics ^^ will upload more when i have the time cos....its so slow to upload! hahax.
