Relaxation

Went for 11:15am church today. ALone. Again.
ANyway, went out to Katong area there to play lan game lol. I'm such a noob at warcraft...:P But it certainly felt good conquering :)





For dinner we went Astons Specialties located opp katong mall i think. From 6pm onwards a really long queue will form so must really come earlier...
The pic on the left is the teriyaki chicken, the right is chargrill chicken. It came with 2sides that we can choose from. Can u guess which i took?

Of course the one with the vege la. Both chickens were really tender, but the taste of the teriyaki sauce is nicer :) Best thing is its really cheap at 6.50... i've heard good comments about their steak, but i refrain from eating steak. Got bad experience haha..

Anyway a walk at east coast beach really takes a load off. I only wish it lasted longer.

The humidity is a killer.
Good luck to the next generation if global warming gets worse.
I certainly won't live to experience that outcome.

If u're a fan of Zac effron..you'd better not miss this movie. Seriously. Without his charm and charisma i doubt this movie would have survived.

A good thing about the ending is that it isn't a DREAM. Most time travels end up with the person waking up but it doesn't happen here! Lots of laughs and a couple of cringes makes it worth watching..but like all other chick-flicks, would probably rate it a 3.5/5.


Did u see the preview of X-men Wolverine?? OMG. I have to watch it! Out in 2weeks i think. He is sooo cool. Can't wait :)

Took this sculpture at Vivo today cos it looked nice and really stands out with is colourful design.







Tried this unique pizza from bugis basement which uses Jap Rice as its crust and toppings that of a pizza. Hawaiian flavour. It's yummy, though instead of cheese they put mayo. Just something different. Portion was small though.





Watched sleauge live on fri Saf vs super red. haha. Super lucky goal... really lucky. What a letdown for SAF when they are expected to score more goals. It's so different watching live than on tv. The atmosphere is tense.

1st week of Internship



So tiring. As in, mentally draining. Imagine staring into the computer the whole day. It's alright if its playing games, thats entertaining... but this is so not. Although it's second Life, i have to think of objects to create and keep those brain juices flowing for ideas. So what do i do? Drink COFFEE lah...they have drink machine so i can take take take. hahaha..ok la, also got water dispenser. I've got my desk but sadly its not in a closed corner so anyone can see what i'm surfing. (of all the sh*t) so no msn or whatever.



People there are really nice. Found out i'm the youngest there though. Made friends with the temp staff there as well :) There's no evil people so far except for the toilet auntie who always talks to herself and flush repeatedly after you've used the cubicle. -.-

Was walking past Baleno at Bencoolen and met Shu Jun there!! I remember her as being the first one i made friends with when i worked at the one at Toa payoh (now closed). She has worked so long! Long time nv see her too...chatted awhile and all 3 of us exchanged conversations. haa...quite shocked to hear abt some things they did...i wanted to take a look at those articles but...no...

Tampines1
Senior passed some books on SecondLife to me...5 total, so heavy! I hope it'll really help me alot for my internship. 2days away...anxious :)

So we went Tampines1 today. Imagine the crowd. Yeah i know. Public holiday; opening of the mall...people there deserved to be squeezed left and right. But i really liked how so many nice shops are situated there, especially outfitters, uniqlo, topshop, bakerzin, secret recipe... OH yeaH, we saw Mark Lee there too! With his wife and cute baby^^ Think he opened the childern shop right on the top level... There's this hair salon also got his face there. I was so blur i did'nt know he was standing beside me as i looked at the poster. haha.
I have to try the Japanese Gourmet town there one day too...it starts with M..(forgot name) but it just opened today at 5pm. So long queue >.>. The plastic food displayed outside was SO realistic and tempting!

Ate at Ajisen tm instead...the best time to take ramen as it just stopped raining. Tried the spicy ramen set. Hot laH. but nice ;) Funny thing that happened as we were at the counter, a little boy with his mum suddenly turned around and held my hand O.O...i was like ????!!!!! LOL. He thought i was his mum! haha. We were laughing... reminds me of when i was young n blurer.

Went Church thereafter and heard their testimony. Good message. Was so packed with people again though.

I can't wait for Adam Lambert to sing again! Insanely good. I want his album. now! haha...

Some things are better left unsaid.

Causes us to go astray?

Woke up at 11:30+ today, it was a good sleep. I hardly get those nowadays, and i doubt i would in the future.

Anyway, this movie is about illegal immigrants and gang fighting. Betrayal and lots of bloody riots. It's an average film; nothing to boast about when u expect the life of a gang member to have death as the only ending. I'm much more attracted to ang moh movies obviously. I'm really looking forward to fast & furious 4 and 17 again :)

I did something really blur today--which ended up with me being late for church. Took the wrong 293 bus...how'd i suppose to know there are 2 routes??? Guess what, i invited a friend to church today! You know the feeling u get after much delibration on a choice and decide to go with it and ends up ok...yup, thats how i felt. To have someone know more and share the experience i have is what i truly desire. If u only knew my longing for a happy heart n soul.

I would be immensely joyful & elated if
there were a next time.

I googled April Fool and decided to check what they had to say. Wikipedia mentioned:
The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible.

To me it's just a day of fun and laughter, something to really crack one up with a sigh of relief. haha...I wonder which smart alec created this term. Its like mocking gullible fools out there *cough* think im one of them LoL.

Other than this significance, this date also reminds me of something.
